Course Highlights


  • Train to conduct advanced mixed gas CCR dives to a maximum depth of 100 m
  • Develop advanced CCR failure management and bailout procedures
  • Practice manual CCR operation, including completing a full dive and decompression in manual mode
  • Master team bailout procedures, off-board gas sharing, and bailout cylinder management
  • Perform complex drills including cell failures, flooded scrubber, gas loss, broken hoses, and multiple-failure scenarios
  • Develop advanced gas management, decompression, and dive-planning skills

Prerequisites


  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Certified TDI CCR Mixed Gas Diluent Diver, or equivalent certification from an agency recognized by TDI
  • Minimum 100 rebreather hours over at least 100 dives
  • At least 50 hours and 50 dives on the unit-specific CCR
  • At least 30 dives deeper than 30 m / 100 ft
  • At least 10 mixed-gas CCR dives deeper than 50 m / 165 ft requiring staged decompression
  • Own a unit-specific CCR

Study at your own pace before arrival to ensure you’re well-prepared. Once on-site, you’ll join classroom sessions with your instructor to review the material, clarify concepts, and solidify your knowledge, setting the stage for successful hands-on training.

With Your Instructor


Engage in practical, hands-on training with your instructor. You’ll develop and refine essential skills, covering everything from equipment setup to advanced diving techniques. Your instructor will guide you through real-world scenarios, ensuring you’re fully prepared to dive independently. This immersive training builds your confidence and competence, equipping you to safely and efficiently explore the underwater world.
